About me
I had a childhood immersed in photography. I spent many hours with my Dad watching magic happen as images came to life in the darkroom. I learned early in life about how light tells a story.
I took my first photography class in 7th grade and continued through college. My teachers always gave us assignments of “things”. I never wanted to take pictures of things. I wanted to take pictures of people and I still want to take pictures of people.
When I’m not taking pictures, I have the best day job anyone could ask for. I work at the Zoo in Seattle as the ZooTunes concert manager. Not only do I get to hear amazing music and organize a fantastic series – I also get the opportunity to photograph the artists up close. I'’m living my teenage dream of being a “rock-star” photographer in a very unusual way.
My goal as your photographer is to capture what is unique to you –- naturally & genuinely.
I love capturing the perfect moment - of joy, of self, of beauty.
